Fans and motors rely on spherical rollers (213/222/223), which soak up shaft deflection and centring error; hot positions get C3/C4 clearance and brass cages so thermal growth cannot seize the bearing. On the motor side shaft current must be considered — electrically insulated or hybrid ceramic options are quoted on request. Dusty coal handling prefers contact seals with centralised lubrication.

Typical conditions: Plant auxiliaries run at full load around the clock: fans, coal mills and coal handling see high bearing temperatures, abrasive dust, and maintenance windows that fall only on planned outages. Frequency-driven motors add shaft current, which etches electrical pitting into the raceways and shows up as gradually rising vibration and noise without an obvious cause.
